To the dream

To

iTo awaken to live in the world every day

To have to survive and find your way

To try to take no more than you give

To adapt your thinking to live and let live

To take what you're given and maintain a smile

To laugh when your heart is breaking all the while

To long for love's truth, and the ecstasy it brings

To watch others fly while you await your wings

To feel most times like you're outside looking in

To watch others play the games and win

To think to yourself, now it's my turn

To seek the lessons that I have to learn

To sometimes question if you've gone insane

To know in your heart there is no blame

To sleep at night and dream your dreams

To realize that reality is not what it seems

To then awaken to a brand new day

To know that it won't always be this way

Or is it all a dream...
